Nominees for Gleaner Honour Awards 2005
published: Wednesday | October 26, 2005

( L - R ) PAT RAMSAY AND MARK KERR-JARRETT

The following are some of the nominees for the 2005 Gleaner Honour Award, not recipients, as was reported in error yesterday. In addition, Pat Ramsay, one of the nominees, was incorrectly identified on Page A4 of The Gleaner yesterday. The photograph was in fact that of Mrs Jean Casserly, wife of businessman Alvaro Casserly. We apologize for the errors, the inconvenience and the embarrassment caused as a result. Today we repeat the list of nominees published yesterday.

Godfrey Watson: For conceptualising the homecoming model of community development and being the founder of the St. Elizabeth Homecoming Foundation.

Douglas Bennett: For being the chairman of the Jamaica Musical Theatre Company for 25 years and founder of the Junior Theatre.

Hon. Barbara Gloudon, O.J.: For her work with the Little Theatre Movement, and the annual Pantomime.
