Cornwall cruise into inter-zone round

MANY-TIME CHAMPIONS Cornwall College booked their ticket to the inter-zone round of the ISSA/Pepsi/JN daCosta Cup competition with a 7-2 drubbing of hosts Muschette yesterday.

Clarendon College also secured a place in the round of 24 with a 3-1 victory over Kellitts.

Elsewhere, defending champions Glenmuir and Denbigh stretched their 100 per cent winning streaks.

Glenmuir defeated Edwin Allen 3-1 while Glenmuir stopped Vere 2-0.

The Robert Lightbourne against St. Thomas Technical match was not played because of a waterlogged field and will be played this afternoon at York Oval.
