Start your degree through long distance learning
published: Thursday | January 13, 2005

WANT TO start your degree in April with some amount of flexibility?

Well, the Caribbean International College, which is the tertiary arm of Maths Unlimited, will be offering university access and university level programmes through supervised distance learning.

Dacia Green, programme coordinator at the institution, said "the aim is to make world-class university level education accessible." She noted that the college would be offering certificates and diploma programmes in management from the University of Leicester.

Also, the college will be offering an MBA programme for students who already have a bachelor's degree.

Ms. Green noted they also have bachelor's programmes in management and information technology which are offered by Edexcel and University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom. According to Ms. Green, a degree programme would take three and a half to four years to complete on a part-time basis.

Worrying about fees? Well, Ms. Green said that the great thing is that there is an interestfree payment plan where students can pay the cost of the course in 12 monthly instalments.
