Seaga should sing his Sankey and go
published: Sunday | July 11, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

SEAGA GOES! So what? He should have sung a Sankey, blew out his RED candle and left a long time. He is one of the political dinosaurs who was never ever good for Jamaica. Genius with figures, they say, but the IMF will tell you that the worst period of negative growth occurred under his watch.

If history is to be kind to Mr. Seaga he, while he still can, must light a candle, sing a Sankey and repent for being an active participant in the tribalisation of Jamaican politics.

Whatever moral authority he has, he should speak to his followers and see if a 'peace treaty' can bring calm to the restless shores of our beloved Jamaica.

I am, etc.,

NORRIS MCDONALD

Florida, USA
