
Hull VETERAN TRAINER Lawford Hull died at the University of the West Indies Hospital last Thursday after a long illness. He was 73.
Meanwhile, in a press release, the Directors, Management and Staff of Caymanas Track Limited (CTL) has extended condolences to his family on his passing.

"The late trainer served the thoroughbred racing industry over the years, inspired many and will be sadly missed for his invaluable contribution to the sport.
"We wish his family, relatives and many friends God's richest blessing and strength in this, their time of bereavement," ended the CTL release.
Hull, who in the 1970s and early 80s was assistant-trainer to many-time champion Kenneth Mattis, saddled a total of 31 winners, including STILL ALIVE, BATTLESHIP, ONE ROSE, BIG BUCK and HIGH VELOCITY. He retired in the mid-90s.
According to his son, Hull's funeral is scheduled for Sunday, March 28, but other details are yet to be finalised at this stage.
He is survived by 10 children, other relatives and friends.
