LONDON (AP):
INDIA AND Pakistan will meet at Edgbaston in the ICC Champions Trophy next fall, while South Africa and the West Indies will play each other at The Oval.
Edgbaston also will host England-Zimbabwe, and World Cup holder Australia will face New Zealand at The Oval.
The other ground being used for the September 10-25 championship is Hampshire's Rose Bowl. The final is at The Oval.
While the groupings were already known, the International Cricket Council announced the schedule yesterday of the 12-team, one-day competition.
The four groups are India, Pakistan, Kenya; South Africa, Bangladesh, West Indies; England, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka; Australia, New Zealand and a qualifier from the Six Nations Challenge which takes place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, February 29-March 6.
The six teams taking part in Sharjah are the host, United States, Netherlands, Scotland, Canada and Namibia.
