VistaPrint opens contact centre in MoBay
published: Friday | November 21, 2003

VISTAPRINT, the world's leading online supplier of short run, full-colour printing to small businesses and consumers, officially opened a customer contact centre in the Montego Bay Free Zone on Wednesday November 19.

The new contact centre will provide customer service, technical support and graphical assistance to customers via email, online text chat and phone. Currently, there are 40 VistaPrint Jamaica employees and the company is planning on expanding the facility over the next year.

On hand to welcome the company to Jamaica at the ceremony was Minister of Commerce, Science & Technology, Phillip Paulwell and the Minister of Development, Dr. Paul Robertson as well as officials from JAMPRO and the Montego Bay community.

PRICE-PERFORMANCE LEADER

Headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, VistaPrint is the price-performance leader for short-run, full-colour printing. VistaPrint provides full-colour design and printing services via the Internet at cost savings of up to 90 per cent versus traditional printers. VistaPrint has served more than 2,500,000 customers worldwide since its launch in May 2000. In addition to its US site, VistaPrint operates localised web sites in Germany, Italy, Sweden, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and the Netherlands.

VistaPrint is also constructing a 4,000 square meter European printing facility to be located in Venlo, the Netherlands. The investment will enable the company to improve its service offerings to European customers through faster delivery times, lower shipping costs and more payment options.
