Correction

THE EDITOR, Sir:

MISS K. C. Graham, in her letter published in the Sunday Gleaner of February 2, 2003 ['Give a helping hand'], mentioned two organisations in connection with a solid waste management project at the Windsor Girls' Home in St. Ann's Bay. I would like to correctly identify the two organisations responsible for the project: St. Ann Environment Protection Association (STAEPA) and the Green Fund of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

The Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ) has been asked to contribute to the educational component of the project, which promotes waste separation, recycling, and composting and includes educational activities relevant to the school curriculum.

I am etc,

WENDY A. LEE

Executive Director

St. Ann Environment Protection Association
