THE EDITOR, Sir:
I AM writing this letter to share my views on the pimento industry based an what I read in your article, and what I know about the pimento industry.
With no doubt the pimento industry is an important aspect of this country's economy, even though a lot of people might not even know that such an industry exists within our country. My father owns an operating pimento factory and a lot of people are employed at the factory.
However even though he employs many the profit that he makes every fortnight is very minimal, and we have decided to export the oil to the direct market overseas. However, we don't know how to go about getting the contacts, and we are asking for help in getting a direct link with the markets abroad. Any assistance in this matter will be welcome.
