Half Moon makes Conde Nast Gold List
published: Sunday | January 5, 2003

'Incredible views and dependable service' are qualities that have earned Half Moon Golf, Tennis & Beach Club international acclaim.

HALF MOON Golf, Tennis & Beach Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica, has been elected to Conde Nast Traveller's 2003 Gold List in the Readers' Choice Poll.

The list comprises the world's best places to stay and is voted upon by more than 28,000 subscribers of this prestigious travel magazine.

Each resort is rated by specific criteria including rooms, service, food, location, design and activities. In the survey, 75.4 per cent of all participants gave Half Moon a very good to excellent rating on each of these criteria. Readers are urged to further highlight their ratings with comments. On Half Moon, these included "incredible sea views," "fantastic golf and horseback riding," "dependable, non-stuffy service" and "never disappoints."

The selection of final winners also depends upon interviews with many of these readers in order to gather additional insights and to be assured of the standing of the property. Half Moon is one of only three Jamaica resorts included in the Best of the Atlantic and Caribbean Islands Section.

According to Half Moon Managing Director, Richard Whitfield, "This latest accolade is great motivation for the staff, all of whom put a great deal into making Half Moon an extraordinary experience for all our guests."
