Air Jamaica fares

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM truly hoping that Air Jamaica's Butch Stewart will read my letter, and do something about the fares on his airline. My cousin has to travel on Thanksgiving Day to Jamaica for her father-in-law's funeral, while trying to make her travel plans she called Air Jamaica and was given a fare for $685 minus 10 per cent for bereavement.

My cousin would never fly with American Airlines, now she is forced to because of a better air fare, US$458. Mr Stewart, you need to make Air Jamaica's fares affordable. Too many of us Jamaicans living in the US are complaining about the unaffordable fares on Air Jamaica.
