WESTERN BUREAU:

HOT ON the heels of the Luther Vandross show in May this year, Communications and Business Solutions (CBS) is again spearheading the Public Relations and Promotions campaign for another Buzz Productions event, 'Divas in Concert.'

"From all indications this show is expected to be the hot item for December," says Melody Cammock, Director-Business Development.

The marketing communications organisation, just shy of its third birthday spoke proudly of its achievements to date. "We are proud of the superiority of our work and the confidence that has brought repeat assignments and major projects from our clients, CBS is an Image Management Company, which is about bright new ideas."

Sheila Segree-White, a director further noted, "when we decided to start this company we were told that we had chosen a very competitive industry, an industry with enough players who had firmly established themselves into the market place--as if we didn't know. Well our response was and still is, 'there is always room at the top.'

As communications and management experts she said that the companies mission is threefold; to design and produce print and marketing communication programmes with exceptional high quality, positive impact, to offer service beyond their clients' expectations and to earn a reputation as businesswomen of integrity and professionalism.

CBS specialises in corporate clients but most recently has entered the foray of entertainment marketing by handling the Public Relations and Promotions for 'Mary Mary' show featuring gospel duo, sisters Erica and Tina Atkins who performed in Jamaica last March.

Together Melody Cammock and Cheryl Neufville-Crooks, director of special projects have engineered the very innovative, 'Divas Star Search', which will see two young talented Jamaican women getting the opportunity to be opening acts at 'Divas in Concert' December 1 and December 2, respectively.
