A welcome enviro series

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WOULD like to commend The Gleaner for publishing a series on the importance of the environment. Jamaica has a magnificent natural heritage and all of her citizens should be proud.

This series will help raise local awareness of this heritage and encourage people to appreciate what is theirs to cherish and protect. Thank you very much for bringing this vital issue to everyone's attention.
