Silly times are here again

THE EDITOR, Sir:

WE WANT peace and unity in our country. Without this we are better off dead, than to continue to live in all this silliness. We also know that it is only our Lord Jesus Christ who can give us real peace. We know politicians are obsessed with the lust for power, therefore, politicians only use false and impossible promises to get votes.

Even if the politicians would do some of the things they promise, they do not have the resources so most of their promises are vain and impossible. Peace and unity are not doctrines of politicians otherwise both JLP and PNP would come clean to us and tell us that no JLP or PNP on their own can build this country.

Jesus can solve all our problems, peace and love abide.

I am, etc.,
