Tribal warfare and politicians

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE BITTERNESS, the divisiveness and the hatred that now engulf the western end of the city, resulting in what I can safely say is tribal warfare, may have taken its genesis from our Parliamentarians over the years.

The behaviour in Parliament of some of those whom I am ashamed to call my representative are very bad examples for our people, mainly the young people who desperately need role models. These behaviours are now playing out in the inner-city sections of western Kingston and may very well extend to other areas, if urgent action is not taken.

I am, etc.,
