Bahamas teams here for Cup warm-ups

JAMAICA'S national volleyball teams will get one last chance to fine tune ahead of next month's World Cup qualifiers in Aruba this weekend.

The women and male teams will face three national teams from Bahamas in a tournament organised by the Jamaica Volleyball Association (JaVA) and the University of the West Indies.

The Bahamians begin their tour this afternoon when they travel to UWI for games with the home team.

Today's schedule reads: UWI vs Bahamas Juniors at 12:00 (female); UWI vs Bahamas Juniors at 2:00 (male); UWI vs Bahamas Junior at 6:00 (female) and UWI vs Bahamas Juniors at 8:00 (male).

The national teams will battle for supremacy between tomorrow and Sunday at G.C. Foster. Both junior and senior teams will be in action. Competition gets underway at 9:00 a.m. on both days.
