HARBOUR VIEW's run of finals continued unabated yesterday when they marched to yet another, beating Arnett Gardens 1-0 in the JNBS Federation Cup semi-final at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex.

Just on Saturday they claimed the Jackie Bell Knockout title by defeating Constant Spring.

A 50th minute strike by midfielder Jermaine Hue was enough to give the team - down to 10 men in the 43rd minute with the ejection of Damion Stewart - the win. Arnett Gardens had only themselves to blame as they created more chances and had the better of play, especially in the first half.

In a competitive first half, Arnett Gardens had the first real chance to find the back of the net as Kwame Richardson got by Baris Johnson on the left flank. With goalkeeper Leon Gordon advancing and leaving the goal empty, Richardson attempted a pass to Denton Shedden but only succeeded in having the ball bounce off the knee of defender Robert Scarlett into the path of Gordon.

As the game continued to flow Arnett Gardens' way, Richardson missed another opportunity in the 13th minute. Two minutes later, Harbour View got their first look at goal. The skillful Ali Rose, who is carrying a little too much weight, disposed of Richardson and Jermaine Benjamin close to the right corner flag and squared inside for his strike partner Shawn Henry who headed just high.

Two minutes later, Arnett Gardens were back in attack with a good run from Richardson who released Smith on the edge of the 18-yard box. Smith dismissed his marker with a deft turn and was about to fire with the left foot when a timely block by Johnson saved Harbour View.

With two minutes to the interval, Stewart earned himself his marching orders after a blow to the mid-section of Smith in front of assistant referee Anthony Garwood. Garwood made his recommendation to referee Raymond Pine and Stewart was duly punished.

Coming out for the second Arnett Gardens took the attack to their visitors but found themselves being hit on the counterattack.

In an ill-advised move, Benjamin fouled Shaw to the right of the 18-yard box and gave a way a free kick which cost his team. Shaw knocked the ball to Hue at the top of the 18-yard box and he curled the ball into the net.

Arnett Gardens continued to attack and create chances but it was not their day. Shedden had a number of chances which he missed and Barrington Gaynor cleared two balls off the line with 14 minutes to go.
