Re Seaga's warning

THE EDITOR, Sir:

ON READING a recent statement issued by Mr. Seaga warning the Prime Minister not to presume that because he had the constitutional right to call an election when he wished, that it were the only consideration. And that Mr. Patterson should bear this in mind and realise that his authority has some limitation. Mr. Seaga needs to remember that the only limitation to the Prime Minister's authority rests with the Constitution of Jamaica and not with Mr. Seaga or the JLP.

Nothing would please me more than to see the back of Mr. Patterson and his poor excuse for a political party and government. But if it means bringing in the same do-nothing politicians interested in filling their coffers and the pockets of their friends and families with the wealth of the country then begone evi-doers, your kind is not wanted here anymore.

I am etc,

ANDRE A. STEWART
