Glacia Robinson out of hospital


Glacia Robinson

GOSPEL SINGER, Glacia Robinson who has been ailing and hospitalised since last December, has been released from hospital in the United States.

Alicia South, sister and back-up singer for Miss Robinson, told the Gleaner, the singer is recuperating.

"Glacia is still overseas, but she has been released from hospital and is now recuperating. She is still not totally better, this is a good sign, but we all have to just keep praying."

Miss South related, that doctors attending to her sister have not yet arrived at a diagnosis for the 'mystery illness', but the symptons of vomitting and pain all over the body have gone The singer took ill while visiting the United States last year. Meanwhile, Miss South was reluctant to disclose the cost for her sister's treatment. However she said. "It has been costing a whole lot, because medical treatment overseas is expensive."

Glacia's debut album, scheduled for November 2000 release has been put on hold, due to her illness.
