THE NATIONAL Housing Trust has announced plans to place another large housing development on the market this month.
Over 1700 new housing solutions will be offered to qualified NHT contributors between January 15 and 19 of this month, at prices ranging from $552,000 to $1.84 million.
The schemes in which these new solutions are located are Longville Park and Mineral Heights in Clarendon, Tredegar Park in St. Catherine and Duncans Hills in Trelawny.
At Longville Park, a total of 1,362 solutions are being offered in the second phase of this housing development, comprising 833 serviced lots which are being sold for between $522,000 and $560,000; and 529 studio units selling at prices ranging from $1.1 to $1.25 million.
Qualified contributors living or working in the parish of Clarendon, Manchester, St. Catherine or the Kingston Metropolitan Region may apply for the Longville Park solutions.
In the case of the Mineral Heights (Phase 2) development, 301 serviced lots are being placed on the market at a selling price of $550,000 each. Qualified applicants for the lots at Mineral heights must live or work in Clarendon or Manchester.
At Tredegar Park in St. Catherine, the Trust will be offering 15 serviced lots to qualified applicants living or working in that parish. These lots will be going at a price of $600,000 each.
The Duncans Hills development in Trelawny will see a combination of 41 studios and five two-bedroom units being offered for sale, at $1.123 million and $1.84 million, respectively.
Contributors residing or working in Trelawny or St. Ann may submit applications for these units during the application-intake period.
Prospective applicants should note that all selling prices quoted are subject to certified escalation.
The 1700 units to go on offer brings the Trust closer to the 7,000 new solutions it has targeted for delivery by the end of the current financial year, March 2001.
