'Rebel Salute' to unfold January 13

REBEL SALUTE will be staged, Saturday January 13, 2001 at Port Kaiser Sports Club, St. Elizabeth.

The Flames promotion event, headed by Tony Rebel, will feature the likes of Bunny Wailer, Ky-Mani Marley, Glen Washington, Avaran, Nassau and Israel vibration. Newcomers Abijah and poet, JON'ah will add their special stamp to the event.

The local contingent will include, Luciano, Everton Blender, Caple-ton, Anthony B and Joseph Hill. The programme is specially formatted to satisfy the taste of lovers of roots reggae.

According to promoter Tony Rebel, his company Flames Production is busy putting measures in place to facilitate smooth entrance and exit points, improve ticketing and parking facilities, along with traffic control measures, to ensure a more orderly operation.

Rebel Salute 2001 was launched last week at the Terra Nova Hotel, Waterloo Road, Kingston.
