Champs St. Hugh's in final

DEFENDING champions St. Hugh's High are through to Friday's Colgate/ISSA High Schoolgirls Senior League netball final following a 26-16 win over Oberlin High at the Leila Robinson Courts yesterday.

The Joan Cargill-coached girls led 12-8 at half time and kept up the pressure throughout the second stanza to win by 10 points.

Twelve-time champions Dunoon Technical appear set to join St. Hugh's in the final. Yesterday they recorded the biggest winning margin of the semi-final playoffs when they defeated Kingston Technical 65-19 after securing a comfortable 29-13 half-time lead. A win against Excelsior in a rescheduled match tomorrow will secure the final berth.
