Lord Laro hospitalised

Lord Laro

VETERAN CALYPSONIAN Lord Laro is still recuperating in the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was admitted last Tuesday after developing complications following the use of insecticide in his kitchen.

His son, Kevin, told The Gleaner that Laro is mending well and is expected to be home next week.

"His arms were swollen and he complained of back pains and feeling feverish after using the insecticide. The doctors have said he is doing well and he is able to use his arms again," Kevin said.

The 60-year-old entertainer recently released a CD entitled Family Tree, which he produced and arranged.
