Miss Ida Thomas celebrates 100 years

Miss Ida ThomasON THE 12th February we celebrated a once in a lifetime occasion; Ms. Ida Thomas's (Grandma) 100th birthday.

The celebration was held in Ms. Ida's old district of Boston, Portland at the home of her nephew and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence. Ms. Ida was joined in the celebrations by friends and family who had travelled many miles, including Ms. Ida's daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Foster and their children from London.

Special prayers, songs and poems marked the afternoon.

Ms. Ida Thomas has three grandchildren and three great grandchildren and now lives with her grandson and wife Mr. and Mrs. Binnie and their three children in Yallahs.

Her long life she attributes to believing in God and drinking Malta!
