Top acts for 'Summer Break 2000'


Baby Cham and Mad Cobra

A NUMBER of top acts have been booked for 'Summer Break 2000' on Friday, July 7 in Savanna-la-Mar.

The event, which is being promoted by C&M Promotions in association with Crowd Pleaser Promotions, is expected to feature Baby Cham, Delly Ranks, Tanto Metro & Devonte and Mad Cobra at the Hotel Commingle.

The artistes will be backed by the Ruff Kutt Band. Among the hits Baby Cham is expected to deliver are 'Galang Ya Gal', 'Desperate Measures', 'Ghetto Pledge' and 'Another Level'. Delly Ranks is known for such popular ones as 'Headache', 'What A Gal', 'Pelpa' and 'Wagga Wagga Fat'.

Mad Cobra scored internationally with 'Flex' in the early 1990's and has remained a constant chart topper.

The Shocking Vibes recording duo of Tanto Metro and Devonte have been churning out good performances and are expected to do even better in Savanna-la-mar.

Collin Hines and Marlon Young of Fame FM will also be there.
