Authorities search for convicted murderer

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC:
The authorities were continuing the search for a 26-year-old convicted murderer, who escaped from prison on Monday.


Prison Commissioner Martin Martinez said that he expects a report on the escape of Darryl Charles-Bissoon 'within seven days' warning 'if anyone is found to be in league with or any working together between inmate and officer that will be dealt with'.

Police said that prison officers who were making their rounds during the early hours of Monday noticed that Charles-Bissoon and two other men missing. The two men have since been recaptured.
